I don't want to stop the counter which I was using till now.

At the same time you can increment this Mah-jongg Tile Access Counter and the counter which you were using. Assuming that you have put your counter by this description:

after the registration, change (A) into this:

(B) <img src="http://provider.name/cgi-bin/counter.cgi" width="1" height="1">

By describing
width="1" height="1"
your previous counter will be hidden, but increase.

To restore the state before registration, just rewrite the description into (A).

I registered but the counter never appears.

Confirm following points.

  1. In case the counter is displayed in a frame page, you have to register the URL of the page which is displayed in the "child frame." If you registered the "parent frame," then register the child frame in addition.
  2. In case you use URL forwarding service, you have to register the destination of forwarding, not the source of forwarding. If you registered the source, then register the destination in addition.
  3. In case the same page is refered to by more than one URL, they can't use the counter jointly. For example, if the same page is refered by
    http://www.domain.name/UserName/index.html
    and
    http://UserName.domain.name/index.html
    then they can't use same counter at same time. You have to register the URL which is known better.
    If you registered the minor one, then register the major one in addition.

I want to move my counter to another URL.

In case moving to a URL in the same directory (or sub directory) of the previous URL, just move the HTML description to new URL. You don't have to register again.

In case moving to a URL in the parent directory, or to another domain, You must register the new URL.

I want to cancel my registration.

Just remove the HTML description of the counter. The registration will be automatically cancelled in case the figure of the counter has not increased over a half a year or more.
