1. Summary

Mimevis enable you to avoid OS-Version check. The program that run by Mimevis misunderstand version of Windows®.

e.g.)

The setup program permit to install application in only Windows® Vista, but application may be run on Windows® XP. Such a case, you may install application to Windows XP by using Mimevis.

Remark:
Mimevis doesn't provide compatibility. Only avoids version check. If application can't run on not supported Windows®, Mimevis is useless.

3. Install

Expand the zip file and open the [Mimevis.msi]. After that, please follow the instructions on your screen to.

4. Uninstall

Choose [Anti OS-Version Check tool - Mimevis] from [Add or Remove Programs] in Control Panel.

5. Usage

If you run Mimevis without parameters, the dialog box is shown. You can specify Windows® Version, Service Pack, CommandLine or associated file, and working folder. Specify each item and push the OK button, then target program will pass version check and be running.
You can specify program, shortcut, and each associated file to [CommandLine or associated file]. And Drag&Drop is possible.

If you created a shortcut in SendTo on install, you can right-click a file and choose [run by Mimevis] in SendTo. Mimevis starts target program by using previous setting(Default: Vista Ultimate, Serivice Pack 1).
