Altspc has been tested in the Softpedia labs using several industry-leading security solutions and found to be completely clean of adware/spyware components, and granted the 100% Clean Award by Softpedia.
Altspc is a small utility for MS Windows®, which takes over and extends the system (window) menu accessed by pressing the Alt and Space keys simultaneously from most windows. Once you run it, by pressing the Alt and Space keys from each active window, you can call the extended system menu as:
Then, by subsequently pressing the corresponding key (v/h/1/2/3/4, etc.) indicated in the menu, you can maximize vertically/horizontally the active window or place it just in a corner.
Altspc works well in a multi-display environment. Altspc resizes the window so that it fits the width or the height of the monitor containing the window; moves the window to the corner of the monitor containing the mouse cursor. Therefore, Altspc may be used in order to retrieve an application window which disappears in the secondary monitor accidentally, as follows.
Download altspc-en.exe from softpedia.com or vector.co.jp (click there) and just run it to install altspc.
The standard installation process adds a shortcut in the Startup folder and run altspc.exe at the end (apparently nothing would happen; now press Alt+Space anyway from any active window :-).
You can uninstall it from the Control Panel on Windows®.
Before the installation/uninstallation, it is recommended to quit a running altspc (if any).
