ITOH'S HP-200LX SOFTWARE GALLERY

Mr.Itoh has been developing many useful HP200LX's utility. I use his "W32FILER" program. It can connect HP200LX and Windows machine. This program runs under Windows 95 and NT. Using this program, connecting by RS232C cable, we can connect our HP200LX and our Windows Machine via HP200LX's built-in "FILER" ! I usually work with Windows NT machine. When I wanna transfer some files from/to Windows machine, I insert RS232C plug to LX, and I run W32FILER and operate my tiny HP200LX for transfer them. It's so convenient!

Maybe you are reading(?) it HP Palmtop Paper Web version. I knew it on Mitch's Web. I like HP Palmtop Paper because every authors are smart. I expect that many many screen capture image of the software will be there. These days, there is a news about Windows CE. It's interesting. Watch it!

You can see Mitch's face picture! I think he is a Good-Looking Guy. I'm happy to see world LXer's face. Mine? Wait a minutes. He also appears on CompuServe HPHAND and has world-wide HP200LX software collection and information. Not only Palmtop page, let's see his lovely cat "TIGGER" or his lovely vehicle there!

Presented by Hewlett Packard. Free! This software can connect HP200LX and Windows machine. It has just released at 14 Jan. Screen is like FTP program. This stuff is very good and very fast and easy!! Recommended.

This company sells Extention MFC for Visual C++. We can download binary demo programs free. I downloaded some demo programs. My impression is "Pretty Good!" Especially, Objective Grid function is so nice. It's not OCX but MFC. This means that this grid function can be into our EXE binary file. I don't like OCX(not for all OCX ) because maintenace is complicated. But using MFC extension, we can develop same way as daily development process. This has some other function, ODBC, Access's MDB database file connect to Grid. I don't find numeric comma adding function in it. But we can buy whole source code, so maybe we can add our special functions. Price approximately $400.

This company also sells MFC extensions. It's source code. Ther are many many MFC extensions here. Price approximately $200 per YEAR(Next year more expensive). When we request on Web, E-Mail robot will send E-Mail attached sample demo. But some demo requires MFC42.DLL, so I could not try some demo.

You can see in MSJ ad. VC++, Windows 95, NT, Server, VB development, many VIDEO TRAINING TAPE here. I really want Japanese version. In Japan, there is no video tape like this. Only way to learn VC++ developing is reading books, discussing with other developpers. There are some training course for VC++, but it's very very expensive for us
