There are useful tools as network clients.
These tools include the TCP/IP library of ESP/X. When you want to connect your machine to networks and use these ones, you need to prepare the environment for ESP/X. ESP/X is a network adapter between Ethernet and a machine, made by Keisoku-Giken corp. It connects a machine through SCSI. (But, since it had already been sold out, you would be able to get it.)
The TCP/IP library of ESP/X is widely used now. Recently, you can connect to networks with Neptune-X or IIJ-PPP, and both method have used this library. Neptune-X is a extension I/O board between Ethernet and a machine with an ISA-based network interface card. If you want to get it, you need to make it yourself. See Neptune-X's page. 'Lynx' is a World-Wide Web(WWW) browser for character-cell terminals/emulators, and a product of Academic Computing Services of The University of Kansas. 'Lynx for Human68k' is a specified and optimized version for Human68k platform.
You can get services via network by the following tools. They are finger (get informations of some people on any hosts), whois (get information about keywords), archie (get file informations on anonymous-ftp site), and nslookup (get informations of domain on domain-name-service(DNS) server).
